ATLANTA -- Rayona Fannin, 61, of
Atlanta, died Monday, July 7, 2008, at 10:31 a.m. at Abraham Lincoln
Memorial Hospital in Lincoln.
Her funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home,
with Dave Taylor officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home
from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to the service on
Friday. |
Burial will be in Long Point Cemetery, rural Wapella.
Mrs. Fannin was employed by Pantagraph Printing,
Eureka Williams and as a teacher's aide at the
Atlanta Grade School.
She was born April 5, 1947, in Bloomington, to
Burnell Eugene and Aileen I. Matt Wills. She married
Marshall Fannin on July 27, 1963, in Juarez, Mexico.
She is survived by her husband; two daughters,
Tamara D. (and William) Bowman of Argenta and
Kimberly R. (and Steven) Smith of Stanford; one son,
Marshall B. (and Michelle) Fannin of Wapella; nine
grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She is
also survived by her mother, Aileen Wills of
Bloomington; two sisters, Linda Barron of Smyrna,
Tenn., and Carol Eldridge of Canton; and one
brother, Mike (and Betty Garee) Wills of LeRoy.
She was preceded in death by her father, Burnell
Wills, and one brother, Darrell Wills. |
She was a beloved mother, wife and grandmother and
will be greatly missed.
Memorials may be made to the Atlanta Rescue
Squad.
