[July 18, 2008]  Kenneth Jack Wright, 58, of Lincoln, died Friday, July 18, 2008, at 4:05 a.m. at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln. His funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with Bill Degen officiating.

Burial, with military rites, will be in Zion Cemetery.

Mr. Wright served with the military police in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War before becoming disabled.

He was born April 18, 1950, in Dayton, Ohio, to Ivery and Margarete Fannin Wright. He married Donna Sapp on Nov. 20, 1977, in Lincoln.

He is survived by his wife, of Lincoln; two sons, Michael Wright and Tracy Wright, both of Lincoln; four grandchildren, Danielle, Ashley and Haley Wright and Gavin Richardson; and one sister, Shirlene Rowlette of Shelbyville, Ky.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

Funeral Director

He was of the Protestant faith.
