Edna M. Pelc, 76, of Lincoln, died
Friday, July 18, 2008, at 1:45 a.m. at Hopedale Medical Center in
Hopedale with her family at her bedside.
A memorial service will be at a later date. No visitation is
scheduled. |
Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Peasley
Funeral Home in Lincoln is in charge of
arrangements.
Mrs. Pelc was a cosmetologist for over 40 years.
She had also been employed at Stetson's China and
Cutler-Hammer.
She was born March 24, 1932, in Beason to Darius
and Anna Gerard Hunter. She married Henry Pelc on
July 12, 1960.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years; her
sons, Kevin (and Dianna) Hamblin of Lincoln and
Stewart W. (and Paula Brockway) Hamblin of Kewanee;
her grandchildren, Jamie L. Hamblin and Jeremy R.
Hamblin; one sister, Mary J. "Jayne" (and Bill) Horn
of Fort Meyers, Fla.; and one brother, John (and
Shirley) Hunter of Lincoln.
She was preceded in death by one son, Michael Ray
Hamblin; one sister, Alice Brock; and two brothers,
George Hunter and Robert Hunter.
Mrs. Pelc was a member of Holy Family Catholic
Church. |
She was an election judge for many years.
She graduated from Beason High School in 1951 and
later graduated from the Clinton School of Beauty
Culture.
She was an avid Cubs fan.
Memorials may be made to the building fund at
Hopedale Medical Complex in Hopedale.
