BROADWELL -- The Abraham Lincoln
Quarter Midget Association will host its annual regional race on

approximately 175 cars that will compete in various classes.

Qualifying that weekend will begin on Saturday, shortly after 9
a.m., followed by heat races that will run throughout the afternoon.
The main features will be on Sunday, shortly after 9 a.m., followed
by a special flag presentation by Lincoln Cub Scout Pack 105. The
event is free and open to the public, so come see what the
"best-kept secret" is all about.
The Abraham Lincoln Quarter Midget Association is a nonprofit
organization and is one of five quarter midget tracks in the Midwest
that offer racing to children ages 5-16. The club hosts
approximately 18 races a year, plus the annual regional event and an
end-of-the-year race in Springfield. The association also hosts an
annual "arrive and drive" event, where children are welcome to
attend and are given the opportunity to drive a car for a small
donation. All regular race events are free and open to the public.
Quarter midget racing is a great family-oriented sport that
teaches good sportsmanship, confidence, pride and a sense of
belonging.
