John R. McCain, 73, of Lincoln, died
Tuesday, June 3, 2008, at 9:45 p.m. at the Christian Nursing Home in
Lincoln. |

No funeral services are scheduled. Cremation rites
have been accorded.
Peasley Funeral Home in Lincoln is in charge of
arrangements.
Mr. McCain was a truck driver for many years.
He was born June 13, 1934, in Lincoln to Hilmer
and Katherine Bacon McCain.
He is survived by his children, Steve Dunham of
Marshall, Linda Metelko of Topeka, Brenda (and
Russell) Pratt of Oakford, Leroy Foreaker of Ohio,
Debbie (and Donnie) Perino of Carlinville, Reginna
Nelson of Lincoln, and John (and Ethel) McCain,
Chris McCain and Jaimie (and Tammey) McCain, all of
Lakeland, Fla.; one sister, Beverley (and Jim) Kruse
of Lincoln; and two brothers, Jerry (and Sharon)
McCain of Lincoln and Danny McCain of Emden. |
He was preceded in death by one son, Hilmer John McCain, and one
brother, Donnie McCain. Memorials may be made to the American
Kidney Foundation.
