Hoock will monitor and report on all hospital-acquired infections as
well as educate staff, visitors and patients regarding infection
control. She will also develop and implement programs for the
educational needs of the nursing staff. Previously, Hoock was a
nurse in ALMH's Same Day Care unit and a restorative nurse
coordinator at Vonderlieth Living Center in Mount Pulaski.
She earned her nursing degree from Methodist Medical Center in
Peoria and has a bachelor's degree in business administration from
Tampa College in Clearwater, Fla.
During her 28-year nursing career, she has worked in various
aspects of nursing, including infection control, restorative nurse
coordinator, clinical resources director, director of home health
care and medical unit nurse manager.
ALMH is a critical access hospital providing health care services
for the residents of Logan and eastern Mason County. The hospital is
one of six affiliates of Memorial Health System and is fully
accredited by The Joint Commission.
