She was born May 28, 1934, in Forest City to
Walter and Mabel Kreiling Kennedy. She married
William "Bill" Wagoner in Forest City on May 1,
1955, and shared many years of love and laughter
with him.
She is survived by her husband, of Emden; two
sons, Brian (and wife Sheryl) of Emden and Ed
Wagoner of Emden; one daughter, Jennifer (and
husband Brian) Neaville of Mount Pulaski; and four
grandsons, Dustin Cumming of Hobe Sound, Fla., Ben
Wagoner of Emden, Zachary Leonard of Emden and
Austin Leonard of Emden.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one
brother, Richard Kennedy.
She loved to cook and was "the best baker and
chef this area ever saw." She was generous with her
talent and brightened the days of many people with
her goodies.
Glenda enjoyed the outdoors and nature. She liked
to mow the lawn and garden and found great joy in
animals.
She was a NASCAR fan and also enjoyed watching
the drag races, especially when her grandson Ben was
involved in them. |
Above everything, she loved her family and was
involved in every aspect of their lives. Whatever
they liked, she liked. She was a wonderful, loving,
funny, giving wife, mother and grandmother.
Memorial donations may be made to the employee
fund at Hopedale Medical Complex in appreciation of
Dr. Matt Rossi and all of the nursing staff for the
excellent care they gave to a remarkable woman.
