Agriculture futures up on CBOT; livestock is mixed

[May 22, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures traded higher Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery rose 9 cents to $7.93 a bushel; July corn added 18.25 cents to $6.08 a bushel; July oats rose 5 cents to $3.99 a bushel; July soybeans gained 20.5 cents to $13.52 a bushel.

Beef futures traded higher and pork futures traded lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle rose 0.97 cent to 94.62 cents a pound; May cattle added 0.13 cent to $1.0805 a pound; June lean hogs fell 0.05 cent to 76.5 cents a pound; May pork bellies slipped 1.1 cents to 75.9 cents a pound.
