            		Marie Aper, 90, of Lincoln, died 
			Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2008, at 10 p.m. at Vonderlieth Living Center in 
			Mount Pulaski. 
							Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Sunday at 
							Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln. |

							Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Immanuel 
							Lutheran Church in Lincoln, with the Rev. Andrew 
							Nyren officiating. Burial will be in Hartsburg Union Cemetery, 
							Hartsburg. Mrs. Aper had taught at Bethel School in Logan 
							County. She was born Oct. 1, 1918, at Atlanta, to George 
							and Meta Trompe Groppe. She married Charles H. 
							Alberts in Emden in 1945, and he preceded her in 
							death. She later married Julius Aper in Emden in 
							1967, and he also preceded her in death. She is survived by four sons, Roger (and Shirley) 
							Alberts of Lincoln, Rodney (and Jill) Alberts of 
							Lincoln, Richard (and Karen) Alberts of Rogers, 
							Ark., and Herb (and Eileen) Aper of Bartonville; 
							four daughters, Peggy (and Don) Williams of 
							Bloomington, Pamela (and Randall) Erkert of 
							Milwaukee, Wis., Judy (and Leroy) McCray of Lincoln 
							and Joyce Slifer of Mode; 15 grandchildren; 22 
							great-grandchildren; and five 
							great-great-grandchildren. | 
                    
					 
							She was also preceded in death by one daughter, 
							Janice Curry, and was the last of her immediate 
							family. Mrs. Aper was a member of Immanuel Lutheran 
							Church and the Mary-Martha Circle of the church. Memorials may be made to her church.
