WLNX to
broadcast men's and women's LC basketball games

Lynx fans can hear play-by-play
action as Lincoln College's radio station WLNX-FM 88.9 broadcasts
the men's and women's home basketball games. The first broadcast,
Wednesday night, featured the Lynx versus Rend Lake.

John Malone, WLNX general manager, hopes to bring the Lynx action to
area listeners. "This year we are keeping the Lynx spirit alive by
broadcasting the men's and women's home games. We have a great group
of students who are truly interested in sports play-by-play, and I
know our listeners will enjoy hearing them," he said. Students
involved with producing the sports shows are Jon Keenan of Long
Grove, John Anderson of Hinsdale, Darin Atkins of Canton and Max
Pozsgai of Lincoln.
