[November 13, 2008]  The Angels of Lincoln Christian passed Clearwater Christian College in the latest power rankings with a rating of 5.194 to Clearwater's 5.146. Although Clearwater has a better won-loss percentage than LCC, the Angels are ranked higher based on the caliber of the competition that each school has played.

The Angels got a tremendous boost in their power rating when they were able to defeat Oakland City University, a NCAA Division II school, twice this season.

With this final boost to their statistics, the Angels will now attend the national tournament in Omaha.
