Norma Behm

[November 14, 2008]  Norma Mae Groth Behm, 91, of Lincoln died Friday, Nov. 14, 2008, at 12:55 a.m. at St. John's Hospital in Springfield.

Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Zion Lutheran Church in Lincoln, with the Rev. Mark Thompson officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service.

Burial will be in Zion Cemetery.

Arrangements are being handled by Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.

Mrs. Behm and her husband farmed together north of Lincoln for 46 years.

She was born June 24, 1917, at Hartsburg to Otto and Emma Krusemark Groth. She married Orville Behm on June 3, 1936, in Hartsburg, and he preceded her in death.

She is survived by three daughters, Emma (and Daris) Knauer, Linda (and Ron) McCuan and Carolyn Allen, all of Lincoln; one sister, Bernadine (and Donald) Alm of Lincoln; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by one sister, two brothers and a great-grandson.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Lincoln and a charter member of the Ladies Aid. She was also a member of the Bunco Club and The Oasis.
