Waunita Huth

[November 28, 2008]  Waunita J. Huth, 77, of Lincoln, died Friday, Nov. 28, 2008, at 8:22 a.m. at her home.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Monday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln. Mrs. Huth's funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jame Hahs officiating.

Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Waynesville.

She worked at Lehn & Fink for 20 years, at State Farm in Bloomington and at the Lincoln Public Library, where she worked as a desk clerk

She was born Jan. 12, 1931, at Waynesville to Kirby and Alice Cooper Yeakel. She married William J. Fisher on Dec. 23, 1949, in Waynesville. She later married Loren Huth on April 5, 2008, in Lincoln.

She is survived by her husband, of Lincoln; one daughter, Kim (and Michael) Jones of Valencia, Calif.; one son, Joe (and Jan) Fisher of Champaign; three stepdaughters; one brother, William Yeakel of Clinton; four grandchildren, Sara and Alyssa Jones and Jason and Kristin Fisher; eight stepgrandchildren; and 12 step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Jon Fisher; and one sister.

She was a member of the First United Methodist of Lincoln.

Memorials may be made to her church or to the Lincoln Public Library.
