Help us help you

[September 09, 2008]  We have been telling all of you about some of our plans as we expand our information base, but we by no means want to leave any of you out of our growth equation. It is in this attempt to bring you as much as we can of what you want to read that we ask for your input.

Specifically, what would you like to see added to the LDN?

Over the past few months we received several e-mails stating you wanted more pictures, and we have been making a concerted effort to have more pictures than ever before.

But we are certain that many of you have good ideas on what we could include that would be of interest to you and the rest of our readership.

Now this request for input will not be treated as a letter to the editor. You don't have to worry about your name on comments popping up in our publication. We merely want you to drop us a note with what you would like to see us include in our daily postings of news and information.

Of course if we hear from 300 of you and we get 300 different ideas, that won't work very well for any of us.

But we are certain we will find a consensus from many of you that will tell us what you would like to see.

We are trying very hard to make the LDN a publication you want to stop and read at least once a day. We are striving to be your hometown neighborhood newspaper, and your opinions and advice are truly appreciated and respected.
