Carmona, Sheffield, 2 others suspended for brawl

[September 23, 2008]  DETROIT (AP) -- Cleveland pitcher Fausto Carmona has been suspended for six games and Detroit slugger Gary Sheffield has been penalized four games after their brawl last week.

Indians catcher Victor Martinez and infielder Asdrubal Cabrera have been suspended for three games each.

The scrap in Cleveland started last Friday night after Sheffield was hit by a pitch from Carmona.
