P. Pozsgai, 55, of Lincoln, died Sunday, April 5, 2009, at home,
surrounded by his family.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at Holland Barry and Bennett
Funeral Home.
His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the
First United Methodist Church, with Neil
Windham and Jame Haas officiating.
Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery.
Mr. Pozsgai was a transportation consultant at
Graue Chevrolet for 35 years.
He was born April 27, 1953, in Baja, Hungary, to
John Sr. and Eva Pribil Pozsgai. He married Lou Ann
Smock on Oct. 2, 1976.
He is survived by his wife, of Lincoln; one son,
Max Pozsgai of Lincoln; a special family friend,
Nathan Charron of Lincoln; two brothers, John
Pozsgai of Lincoln and Joe (and Marge) Pozsgai of
Spokane, Wash.; three sisters, Anna (and Tom) Bunner
of Lincoln, Susie Billington of Lincoln and Mary
(and Eric) Morris of Lincoln; and several nieces and
nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an
infant brother, Paul Pozsgai.

He was a member of the Region 5 Quarter Midget
Association, the LCHS Boys Basketball Boosters and
was the founder of HERO in Logan County, named for
helping, encouraging and reaching out.
Memorial donations may be made to the Max Pozsgai
College Fund or to the American Cancer Society and
will be accepted at the funeral home.
