DECATUR -- Gertrude Schick, 96, of
Decatur, died Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2009, at 3:15 p.m. at McKinley
Court Care Centre. |

Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at
Resurrection Catholic Church, Illiopolis, with the
Rev. James O'Shea and Sister Lois Kickert
officiating. Visitation will be at the church one
hour prior to the service.
Burial will be in Mount Pulaski Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount
Pulaski.
Miss Schick was a homemaker.
She was born Nov. 7, 1913, in Decatur to Edward
John and Lelia Elizabeth Clendenen Schick.
She is survived by one sister, Margaret Cook of
Decatur, two nephews and one niece and their
families.
Two brothers and one sister preceded her in
death. |
She was a member of Resurrection Catholic Church of
Illiopolis.
Memorials may be made to her church or the
activity fund at McKinley Court.
