Dollar General in Lincoln.
She was born Feb. 10, 1936, in Lincoln to Harry
and Georgiabelle Carothers Batterton.
She is survived by one daughter, Laura Swearingen
of Lincoln; two sons, Paul Baker of Lincoln and Tom
Swearingen of McLean; one brother, Robert Batterton
of Lincoln; and three grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one
sister, Patty Hoehn.
She was a very devoted member of Jefferson Street
Christian Church.
Doris was very passionate about her flower
gardens and yard.
She was a devoted mother, grandmother, aunt and
friend to all who knew her. She was affectionately
known as the "garage sale queen" by her family and
friends. |
