GED testing center opens in Lincoln

[February 28, 2009]  The Logan-Mason-Menard Regional Office of Education has opened a center for GED testing. GED tests for residents of Logan, Mason, and Menard Counties will be administered at the following address:

Regional Office of Education
Dr. John Logan County Building
122 N. McLean St.
Lincoln, IL 62656

All GED tests will be administered in a single day. Testing for 2009 is scheduled for the following dates (all Tuesdays):

  • March 17

  • April 21

  • May 19

  • June 16

  • July 21

  • Aug. 18

  • Sept. 15

  • Oct. 20

  • Nov. 17

  • Dec. 8

To register for GED testing or retesting, individuals must apply in person at either the Lincoln or Havana Regional Office of Education locations. The Havana office is located in the Mason County Courthouse, 122 N. Plum St. Applicants must provide proof of passing the Constitution test and a current, state-issued photo ID before registration will be permitted.
