Did you know President Lincoln was a rocker? Our favorite president frequently stayed at the home of Illinois state Sen. Maldon Jones and enjoyed rocking in this oversized rocking chair. The senator's family has graciously donated the chair to our Postville Courthouse, and it is on display on the first floor of the building.
