CARROLLTON -- Eunice Griffin, 72, of
Carrollton, died Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009, at 7:50 p.m. at Boyd
Hospital in Carrollton.
Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln. Her funeral
will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with John
Lobos officiating. |
Burial will be in Zion Cemetery, Lincoln Mrs.
Griffin was a lifelong advocate for children.
She was born April 15, 1937, in Swifton, Ark., to
William Dimsey and Lucy Gertrude Adams Reves. She
married Tom Griffin in Wichita Falls, Texas. He also
died on Nov. 4, 2009.
She is survived by two daughters, Cris Brannan of
Carrollton and Barbara Bell of Roodhouse; two
brothers, James "Larry" (and Kim) Reves of Lemont
and Dennis (and Jessie) Reves of Lincoln; three
sisters, Martha Kirk of Wichita Falls, Texas, Carol
Reves of Lincoln and Bonnie (and Ed) Vanover of
Lincoln; and five grandchildren, Geoffrey Coffman,
Kelsey Brannan, Kate Brannan, Andrew Bell and
Kristen Bell.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one
sister, Lucy Evelyn Roggenbuck; and one brother,
William Reves. |
She was of the Protestant faith.
Memorials may be made to Boyd Hospital in
Carrollton.
