Richard 'Dick' Sampson

A graveside service for Richard "Dick" Sampson,
83, of Tucson, Ariz., formerly of Lincoln, will be at 11 a.m. Monday
at New Union Cemetery. There will be military honors at the
cemetery.

Mr. Sampson died Aug. 4, 2009. Cremation rites
were accorded.
Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home is handling
arrangements.
Dick was born May 14, 1927, to Jess and Nona
Sampson.
He is survived by his wife, Eileen, of Tucson,
Ariz.; daughter Nona Marie (and husband Ben)
Gonzales of Tucson, Ariz.; son Lance (and wife
Laura) of Texas; stepdaughter Colleen of Tucson,
Ariz.; stepson Ron of Tucson, Ariz.; 12
grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; one
sister, Marian Daniels of Lincoln; two brothers,
Jack (and Polly) Sampson of Lincoln and Larry (and
Mary) Sampson of Lincoln; and his former wife, Ethel
Cecil of Tucson, Ariz.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son
Tony, stepson Wade Carter and a granddaughter. |
He was a U.S. Navy veteran.
