[October 14, 2009]  The Lady Wolverines of West Lincoln-Broadwell had basketball games on Tuesday.

The seventh-grade team lost a battle to Christ the King.

WL-B was led in scoring by Emily Matinez and Brook Soebbing, with both girls having three points. Megan Joseph led rebounding with four rebounds

The seventh-grade Lady Wolverines are now 1-3

The eighth-grade team took revenge on Springfield Cathedral. The Lady Wolverines previously lost to this team in the Carroll Catholic tournament

The Lady Wolverines were led in scoring by Michelle Paulus with 11 points, nine rebounds and five steals. Livvie Muck added nine points. Alexandra Turner had eight rebounds and four steals, and Lexee Klockenga added six points. The win was a total team effort.

The eighth-grade team is now 4-3.

The Lady Wolverines will be back in action on Thursday at Mount Pulaski.
