Bernice M. Bradley, 91, of Lincoln,
died Friday, Sept. 4, 2009, at 12:43 a.m. at Abraham Lincoln
Memorial Hospital.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home in Lincoln, with Tim Searby officiating. Visitation
will be from noon until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be in New Union Cemetery. |
Mrs. Bradley
had worked in retail sales at Sears, Penney's and
Myers Brothers department stores in Lincoln.
She was born May 1, 1918, in Cromwell, Ky., to
William Roscoe and Minnie Miller Wilson. She married
Herbert Bradley in October 1935 at Gilstrap, Ky. He
preceded her in death on Dec. 10, 2004.
She is survived by three sons, Kenneth (and
Glenna) Bradley of Springfield, Raymond D. Bradley
of Sun City, Ariz., and Thomas L. (and Pauline)
Bradley of Sun City, Ariz.; eight grandchildren; 11
great-grandchildren; several stepgrandchildren and
step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and
nephews.
She was affiliated with the Christian church. She attended grade school and high school in
Cromwell, Ky. |
