Betty Jo Heidbreder, 69, of Lincoln,
died Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2009, at 4:14 a.m. at her home.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Faith Lutheran
Church with the Rev. Mark Peters officiating. Visitation will be at
the church one hour prior to the service.
Burial will be at a later date. |
Arrangements are
by Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
Mrs. Heidbreder previously was a day care
provider, owned a business called The Tannery, and
she was a homemaker.
She was born Sept. 28, 1939, at Atlanta. She
married Vernon Heidbreder on March 5, 1968, in
Lincoln.
She is survived by her husband, of Lincoln; her
children, Dave (and Fran) Gehrke of Apache Junction,
Ariz., Pamela Richards of Mesa, Ariz., Rhue
Heidbreder of Pensacola, Fla., and Kenneth (and
Heidi) Heidbreder of Belleville; one sister, Kay
Thompson of Lincoln; and six grandchildren, David
Lee Gehrke, Vernon Keith Gehrke, Tashia Nichole
Richards, Dakota Rhue Heidbreder, Summer Heidbreder
and Jenna Nichole Heidbreder.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold
Johnson and Margaret Brandt Hart.
She was a faithful member of Faith Lutheran
Church. |
She loved to cook and bake; she loved nature and flowers,
especially flower gardens; and she loved being with
her family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to
Faith Lutheran Church, the American Cancer Society
or the donor's choice.
