Burial will be in Elkhart Cemetery, Elkhart, with
military rites.

Funeral Home in Lincoln.
Mr. Hunter worked for many years at the Stetson
China factory in Lincoln and retired in 1990 from
Pittsburg Plate Glass, where he was a sealer.
He served in the U.S. Navy Seabees from 1944 to
1946.
He was born Dec. 11, 1926, in Springfield. His
parents were Ernest and Florence Philips Hunter.
He is survived by one sister, Ethel Cecil of
Lincoln; a sister-in-law, Eva Halladay of Elkhart;
and many nieces and nephews.
Two brothers and two sisters preceded him in
death.
He was a member of Elkhart Christian Church. He
was also a member of Knights of Columbus Lincoln
Council 1250 and was former district director of
Illinois. |
