LINCOLN -- Warren Monroe Fink, 65, of
Lincoln, died Tuesday, April 20, 2010, at 11:15 p.m. at Abraham
Lincoln Memorial Hospital.
A memorial Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday, April 26, at
Holy Family Church, with the Rev. Jeff Laible officiating. Burial will be in Harmony Cemetery, Beason.
Following services, the family will meet with
friends and relatives at the Knights of Columbus in
Lincoln.

Mr. Fink was a retired agricultural salesman and
farmer. He farmed for 17 years on the family-owned
Spring Dale Stock Farm and Fink's Durocs.
He was born March 27, 1945, in Lincoln. His
parents were Charles E. and Helen Colburn Fink. He
married Teri Spiegel on Sept. 11, 1966, in Urbana.
He is survived by his wife, of Lincoln; two
daughters, Dawn Fink of Denver, Colo., and Cari (and
Jimmy) Smith of Denver, Colo.; three grandchildren,
Connor, Collin and Brigid; two brothers, Ronald (and
Katy) Fink of Tempe, Ariz., and Norman (and Barb)
Fink of Belleville; and a sister-in-law, Carol
Schmidt Fink of Lincoln.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one
brother, Melvin, who died in 1978.
He was a member of Holy Family Church.
Over his lifetime, he was active as president of
the Illinois Durocs Association, was
secretary-treasurer of the Logan County Producers,
served nine years on the Beason Grade School board,
served on the Logan County Regional Planning
Commission, was 4-H swine superintendent for the
Logan County Fair for 20 years, was a purebred Duroc
swine breeder, president of DTN club and was a
Shriners member.

He graduated from the University of Illinois
Urbana-Champaign with a degree in agricultural
education in 1967.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be
made to the American Cancer Society, Holy Family
Church or the donor's choice.
