Saturday morning at the steer
competition, several young men and women came to show their animal,
hoping it would be the best of the best.
While every animal was beautiful, only one could walk away as the
grand champion steer of all the breeds shown. That one was shown by Kristine Apel of Beason, who won the overall championship with her Hereford.
In addition to plaques and ribbons, Apel was awarded a cash
prize of $500, compliments of Graue Inc.
