Grains futures, livestock prices rise

[December 14, 2010]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures rose Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery added 4.75 cents to $7.8025 a bushel; March corn jumped 14.5 cents to $5.885 a bushel; March oats gained 6 cents to $3.91 a bushel; while soybeans for January delivery climbed 29.5 cents to $13.025 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures also rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle rose 1 cent to $1.0495 a pound; March feeder cattle added 1.25 cent to $1.1990 a pound; February lean hogs gained 1.17 cent to 76.32 cents a pound; while February pork bellies traded up 0.25 cent to $1.0525 a pound.
