Mount Pulaski Zion Lutheran results

[December 14, 2010]  MOUNT PULASKI -- The Mount Pulaski Zion Lutheran Crusaders recently competed against Taylorville Christian Visionway Warriors.

InsuranceZion's eighth-grade team was able to seal the game with 3 seconds left on the clock. Brandon Hickey stepped up to the charity strip and made both his free throws for a 38-33 victory.

Brandon finished the game with 12 points and went 4 of 5 on free throws. Matthew Amidon had a double-double with 19 points and 14 rebounds for the Crusaders. Kurtis Hoock chipped in four points and Lukas Aylesworth added three.

Zion's sixth-grade team was victorious with a final score of 35-20 over the Taylorville Warriors.

The sixth-grade Crusaders were led by Lukas Aylesworth with 19 points and 15 rebounds. Austin Krueger provided 11 points, Noah Funk had three, and Mitchell Hagenbuch added two.
