To the editor: A fervent thank you to every person who has helped the Humane Society of Logan County during the past three years. If you have attended a dog wash, bake sale, purse sale, Ales for Tails, Paws for Claws, cookout, chili lunch, pancake breakfast, cookie tray sale, rummage sale; given us dog food, cat food or other animal supplies; provided a space for our activities; sponsored an ad; given us ink or toner cartridges; fostered; adopted a dog or cat; or just wished us well; we thank you. With your help, HSLC has helped spay or neuter 316 animals in 2009, and 52 animals have been adopted. Plans for a shelter are well on their way, thanks to all of the generous people of Logan County. The dogs and cats who are in need of forever homes benefit from your continued support. Thank you!
