[February 06, 2010]  LOS ANGELES (AP) -- A Los Angeles judge has set an August trial date for two doctors and the lawyer-boyfriend of Anna Nicole Smith, all of whom face drug conspiracy charges.

Superior Court Judge David Wesley on Friday scheduled the trial date for Aug. 4. The next hearing is set for April 23.

Dr. Sandeep Kapoor, Dr. Khristine Eroshevich and Howard K. Stern have pleaded not guilty to illegally funneling sedatives and opiates to the former Playboy model. They are not charged with causing her death.

Smith died of an accidental overdose of at least nine medications in February 2007 at a Florida hotel. In October, Kapoor, Eroshevich and Stern were ordered to stand trial after a three-week preliminary hearing.
