Accident report for Thursday, Feb. 25

Accident on Woodlawn at Palmer
Feb. 23 at 2:28 p.m.

  • Alissa K. Patient, 19, of Macon; 2002 Ford Mustang

  • Rachel M. Grunder, 38, of Lincoln; 1998 Honda Accord

Grunder reported being headed westbound on Woodlawn Road in the right lane. Approaching Palmer Street, she came to a stop in front of O'Reilly Auto Parts because a vehicle in front of her was stopped, waiting to turn.

Patient, following Grunder and not realizing she had stopped, hit the Grunder vehicle in the rear bumper.

Patient was ticketed for driving too fast for conditions, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

Lincoln Police Department report for Thursday, Feb. 25

  • Brown, Lachae K., 26-year-old female, Springfield; arrested Feb. 24 at Fifth and South Evans on a Sangamon County warrant for failure to appear on charge related to retail theft. Bond set at $1,000, 10 percent.

Logan County Sheriff's Department reports for Thursday, Feb. 25

  • Collins, Christopher C., 42-year-old-male, Lincoln; arrested Feb. 24 at the Centralia Correctional Center on a Logan County warrant related to Class A charge of domestic battery.

  • Hurt, Howard L., 28-year-old male, Middletown; arrested Feb. 25 at his residence on Class A charge of violating an order of protection.
