Frances Glick

[January 28, 2010]  MOUNT PULASKI -- Frances E. Glick, 97, of Mount Pulaski, died Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2010, at 9:50 a.m. at Vonderlieth Living Center.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski.

Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Bill Shanle officiating.

Burial will be in Mount Pulaski Cemetery.

Mrs. Glick was a housewife and helped her husband on the farm.

She was born July 11, 1912, at Lake Fork to John and Delilah Galloway Barton. She married Wilbur Glick Sr. in Mount Pulaski on June 26, 1929. He preceded her in death on Nov. 10, 1994.

She is survived by one son, Wilbur Jr. (and Barbara) Glick of Mount Pulaski; four grandchildren, Barbi (and Zach) Kelley, Niki Jones, Roddy Jones and Lil-og; and three great-grandchildren, Aaron, Cypriana and Brooke.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. She was the last of her immediate family.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Mount Pulaski.

Memorials may be made to her church or to the donor's choice.
