Two college-bound students from Lincoln were among 22 winners receiving $1,000 scholarships Saturday at the Illinois American Legion Auxiliary state convention in Springfield. Caiti Wunderlin won an Ada Mucklestone Scholarship, while Lorenda Kirby was presented with a scholarship for junior members.

Caiti will attend Butler University and was sponsored by Lincoln American Auxiliary Unit 263. She is the daughter of Jeff and Bev Wunderlin. Lorenda will attend Concordia University-Chicago and applied for her scholarship through Emden Post 506. She is the daughter of Loyd Kirby and Brenda Bartley of Lincoln.
