Vicky Hubbard

[July 22, 2010]  ELKHART -- Vicky Kay Hubbard, 49, of Elkhart, died Tuesday, July 20, 2010, at 10:25 a.m. at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.

Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The Rev. Carroll Richards and the Rev. David West will officiate. It was Vicky's wish that everyone dress casual for the service.

Burial will be in Zion Cemetery, Lincoln.

Mrs. Hubbard was personnel manager at Walmart in Lincoln. She worked at Walmart for 29 years.

She was born July 14, 1961, in Lincoln. Her parents were Richard and Gloria K. Beaver Anderson. She married Kevin Hubbard on Sept. 25, 1982, in Lincoln.

She is survived by her husband, of Elkhart; one son, Kolby Hubbard of Elkhart; two brothers, Richard L. "Rick" (and Cindy) Anderson of Hartsburg and Kerry (and Carla) Anderson of Beason; two sisters, Penny (and Steve) Starling of Dawson and Tammy Langley of Lincoln; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved pets, Ozzy, Socks and Ringo.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her maternal and paternal grandparents.

She was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Lincoln.

Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Logan County.
