[June 08, 2010]  ASPEN, Colo. (AP) -- Charlie Sheen is expected to plead guilty to a misdemeanor assault charge in exchange for prosecutors dropping felony menacing and criminal mischief charges.

An attorney for Sheen's wife, Yale Galanter, says Monday the deal calls for Sheen to serve a 30-day jail sentence and serve three months probation.

During his jail term, he says Sheen will be released during the day so he can work at a local theater company.
