Accident report Wet pavement blamed for accident on Woodlawn
Incident occurred June 8 at 12:15 p.m. at the intersection of
Woodlawn and North College Street.

74-year-old female, East Peoria; 2005 Ford Taurus

Rumbold, Sharon K., 63-year-old female,
Chillicothe; 2006 Chevrolet Trail Blazer
Police report indicated that Rumbold was the second in line
stopped at the traffic signal at the corner of Woodlawn and North
College. Perry was approaching the intersection, and she said that
due to the wet pavement, she was unable to stop in time to avoid
rear-ending Rumbold.
Perry was ticketed for driving too fast for conditions.
Lincoln Police Department report for Wednesday, June 9
- Palmer, Orielee P., 36-year-old male, of Lincoln, arrested
June 8 at his residence on Class A charge of domestic battery.

Logan County Sheriff’s Department report for Wednesday, June 9
- Merreighn, Kristena D., 19-year-old female, of Lincoln,
arrested June 8 at the Logan County Safety Complex on a Logan
County warrant for failure to appear on charge of leaving the
scene of an accident. Bond was set at $3,000, 10 percent.

presumed innocent until charges are proven in a court of law.
