Karyl Anne Slack, 40, of Lincoln, died Thursday, March 11, 2010, at
8:34 a.m. at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. March 20 at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln, with the
Rev. John Pham officiating.
There will be no visitation.
Burial will be at a later date.
Mrs. Slack was a systems analyst for Verizon.
She was born July 6, 1969, in Lincoln. Her
parents were Richard "Cook" and Melinda Edgemon
Crawford. She married Chris Slack in Las Vegas, Nev.
He preceded her in death on Oct. 8, 2005.
She is survived by her mother, Melinda (and
Terry) Spangler of Lincoln; her father, Richard
"Cook" Crawford of Lincoln; two daughters, Krystina
Madison Slack and Kathryn Anne Slack, both of
Lincoln; one sister, Dawn Potter of Lincoln; one
brother, Bud Crawford of Lincoln; cousins Jennifer,
Dave and Amanda Greer of Warrenton, Mo., and Larry Edgemon of Warrenton, Mo.; and a great-aunt,
Dorothy Heeg of Lincoln.
She was also preceded in death by her maternal
and paternal grandparents. |
She was affiliated with Holy Family Church of Lincoln.
She loved driving Hornet race cars.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to
Carroll Catholic School or the donor's choice.
