Shelby, Mary J., 52-year-old female,
Lincoln; 1998 BMW
Accident occurred on Sangamon Street at the intersection with
Pekin on March 24 at 6:54 p.m.
The unoccupied vehicle owned by Shelby was parked in the 100
block of Sangamon.
Welch was turning off Pekin onto Sangamon and reported that he
was looking at a building on the east side of the street. His
vehicle drifted into the parking lane and struck the BMW owned by
Shelby.
Welch was ticketed for driving too fast for conditions, failure
to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

18-year-old male, Lincoln; arrested March 24 on North State
Street at 21st Street on a Logan County warrant for failure to
appear on alcohol-related charge. Bond was set at $2,500 and 10
percent. Vehicle towed.

Thomas, Gerald L., 18-year-old male,
Lincoln, arrested March 24 on 18th Street at Palmer Avenue on a
Logan County warrant on charge of unlawful use of a weapon. Held
without bond. Vehicle towed from the scene.

- Helton, Byron E., 29-year-old male, Mount Pulaski, arrested
March 24 at his residence on a Logan County warrant for failure
to appear. Bond set at $3000, 10 percent.

J., 22-year-old male, Springfield; arrested March 24 at the
Logan County Safety Complex on a Logan County warrant for
failure to appear on charge relating to possession of cannabis
2.5 to 10 grams. Bond $2,000 10 percent.

Trumpy, Stephanie L., 24-year-old
female, Delavan; arrested March 24 on Route 136 at 100th Avenue
near Emden on a Williamson County warrant for failure to appear
on charge related to passing bad checks.
