Arrangements are by Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral
Home in Lincoln. Mrs. Newberry was a retired
registered nurse. She worked at Abraham Lincoln
Memorial Hospital in obstetrics and at St. Clara's
Manor.
She was born Nov. 30, 1932, in Lincoln. Her
parents were George and Helen Russell Hoblit. She
married Donald Newberry on July 27, 1963, in
Lincoln. He preceded her in death on Aug. 16, 1996.
She is survived by one daughter, Amy (and Mark)
Gladden of Carlsbad, Calif.; two grandchildren,
Chase and Jesse Gladden of Carlsbad, Calif.; and
several cousins.
