Plenty of shoppers
were on hand at the 16th annual Pride of the
Prairie art and craft show at the Lincoln Park District on
Saturday. Many took advantage of the beautiful, unique gifts and
many were making purchases, much to the delight of all
the vendors.

In
this file photo taken May 16, 1996, actors Leslie Nielsen, left, and
Nicollette Sheridan arrive at the El Capitan Theatre in Los Angeles for
the premiere of "Spy Hard." The Canadian-born Nielsen, who went from
drama to inspired bumbling as a hapless doctor in "Airplane!" and the
accident-prone detective Frank Drebin in "The Naked Gun" comedies, has
died. He was 84. His agent John S. Kelly said Nielsen died Sunday at a hospital near his home in Florida, where he was being
treated for pneumonia.
