LINCOLN -- Betty J. Kacshak, 79, of
Lincoln, died Friday, Oct. 1, 2010, at 12:38 p.m. at Abraham Lincoln
Memorial Hospital.
Her graveside memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 9,
at New Union Cemetery. Pastor Jim Barry will officiate. |

There is no visitation. Arrangements are by
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
Mrs. Kacshak retired from Lincoln Developmental
Center, where she had worked in the housekeeping and
laundry departments.
She was born July 28, 1931, at Red Top, Mo. Her
parents were Roscoe and Tela Marie Norton Patterson.
She married Robert M. "Beaner" Kacshak on Sept. 27,
1968, in Lincoln. He preceded her in death on Oct.
24, 1994.
She is survived by one son, John D. (and Dorell)
Hunter of Litchfield; two daughters, Linda Kay
Wilson of Lincoln and Beverly Jean (and Rod) Lewis
of Lincoln; one sister, Fern Pollock of Lincoln;
seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers,
Joe, James and Wayne. |
She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post
263.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's
Research Hospital.
