A celebration of life service will be at 2 p.m.
Saturday at Trinity Church in Morton, with Pastor
Mike Hutchings officiating. Visitation will be at
the church from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 1 to
1:45 p.m. Saturday. Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home and
Cremation Center in Morton is handling arrangements.
Mrs. Otte had worked as the activities assistant
at Maple Lawn in Eureka for eight years.
She was born Jan. 12, 1948, in Bloomington to
Edgar and Hazel Peek White. She married James Otte
on Nov. 19, 1966, in Lincoln.
She is survived by her husband, of Congerville;
her mother, of Bloomington; two sons, Dave (and
Louise) Otte of Washington and Greg (and Jennifer)
Otte of East Peoria; one daughter, Jeanette (and
Eric) Eidson of Deer Creek; and three grandchildren,
Ethan Otte and Zakeri and Alyxandra Eidson.
She was preceded in death by her father.
She was a member of the Twin City Sams Camping
Club.
For the past eight years, she and her husband
traveled to the Rio Grande Bible Institute in
Edinburg, Texas, to do volunteer work for five
months during the winter.
