Diane Bicknell (center), EMT for Atlanta Rescue Squad, donates a Philips automated external defibrillator to Mayor Fred Finchum at the Atlanta City Council meeting. Bicknell was the winner of a drawing at the Illinois Ambulance Conference in Peoria. Jenn Wilson (left) of Vital Education, a representative for Philips, was the donating vendor. Bicknell asked that the AED be on-site at the Atlanta swimming pool or ball diamond.

Congratulations to Dillon Leslie. Dillon receives the Lincoln Kiwanis Club's student of the month award from president Bob Sullivan. Dillon is in the building trades at LCHS, and according to his teacher, Jason Dietrich, Dillon has exceptional skills to go along with his experience and excellent work habits.
