LINCOLN -- Erma Louise Sherrer Helton,
83, of Lincoln, died Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2010, at 2:55 a.m. at
Maple Ridge Care Centre. |

Her funeral will be at 4 p.m. Friday at Park Meadows
Baptist Church, with Pastor S.M. Davis officiating.
Visitation will be from 3 to 4 p.m. at the church.
Burial will follow in Oak View Cemetery, Armington.
Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home is handling
arrangements.
Erma was born July 1, 1927, in Indiana. Her
parents were Charles and Nora Dell "Della"
Winebrinner Sherrer. She married Archibald Helton on
Jan. 28, 1945. He preceded her in death in July of
1979.
She is survived by four daughters, Bonnie (and
Chuck) Smith of Weldon, Marcia (and Levi) Ross of
Mason City, Lois Mauney of Lincoln and Gaila (and
Bill) Mechela of Seattle, Wash.; three sons, Randall
(and Teri) Helton, Wendell Helton and Timothy
Helton, all of Lincoln; numerous grandchildren,
great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren;
and one sister, Evelyn Miller of Lincoln. |
She was also preceded in death by two daughters,
Gloria Helton and Tena Burrell; one son, Bobby
Helton; two brothers, Everett Sherrer and Floyd
Sherrer; and one sister, Thelma Lolling.
Memorial donations may be made to Park Meadows
Baptist Church.
