Joyce was a friend to all. She had the heart of a servant and the spirit of an angel. It was a joy for her to serve the community in various ways, whether it was the many organizations that she offered her time to, the many mouths she fed or the heartfelt words of encouragement that she always had to give.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Lincoln, American Cancer Society (for pancreatic cancer research) or to the building fund for Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital and will be accepted at the funeral home.
