Logan County 4-H recently had its annual Oral Communications Contest. State fair delegates selected were Joe Ahrends, formal speech, Lincoln; Cameron Jodlowski, extempore speaking, Atlanta; Ryan Huffer, illustrated speech, Lincoln; Kenyon Jodlowski, original works, Atlanta; Hannah Crider, oral interpretation, Lincoln; and Samuel Squaire, general demonstration, Lincoln. State fair alternates are Nathan Squaire, Matthew Squaire and Abby Squaire, original works, Lincoln. All won blue awards. Kenyon Jodlowski was selected as the top oral communicator and received a plaque sponsored by Lincoln IGA.  Molly Schempp, Atlanta, also participated and won a blue award. Judges for this year's contest were John Malone and Mike Fak, both of Lincoln.
