Julie Young-Dahl

[April 22, 2011]  LINCOLN -- Julie K. Young-Dahl, 45, of Lincoln died Thursday, April 21, 2011, at 4:39 p.m. at her home.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.

Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Family Catholic Church in Lincoln, with the Rev. John Pham officiating.

Burial will be in Lucas Chapel Cemetery, rural Lincoln.

She worked as a clerk for the Illinois Retail Merchants Association.

Julie was born on July 7, 1965.

She is survived by her parents, Ronald and Mary K. Bergman Young of Lincoln; two brothers, Clark (and Joan) Young of Woodridge and Craig (and Stefanie) Young of Shorewood; three nephews, Erik and Ryan of Woodridge and Henry of Shorewood; and a niece, Sofie, of Shorewood.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Harold and Helen Young and Offie and Fannie Bergman.

She was a member of Holy Family Church of Lincoln.

She graduated from Lincoln Community High School and Western Illinois University, where she majored in marketing.

Memorials may be given to the Humane Society of Logan County.
