LINCOLN --
Beulah M. Hunter, 79, of Lincoln, died Monday, Dec. 19, 2011. She
went to celebrate Christmas with Jesus and her loved ones who went
before her.
Visitation will be at Bennett Funeral Home from 5 to
7 p.m. Thursday and her funeral service at 10 a.m.
Friday. |
Burial will be in Camp Butler National Cemetery.
She was born March 27, 1932, to Russel and Letha
Dennison. She married William E. Hunter on May 25,
1949, and he preceded her in death.
She is survived by one son, Dale (and Lynn)
Hunter of Lewisville, Texas; three daughters,
Earlene Lucas of Pekin, Ruth Ann (and David)
Kaesebier of Broadwell and Tami (and Scott) Moore of
Heartland, Wis.; one brother, Roger (and Jodi)
Dennison of Elkhart; three sisters Dorothy (and
Eldon) Hawks of Lincoln, Elizabeth (and Dave)
Jackson of Williamsville and Jill Gardner of
Williamsville; 11 grandchildren; 18
great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was also preceded in death by one son,
William E. Hunter Jr.; a son-in-law, Lee R. Lucas;
five brothers; and two sisters.
Beulah was an active member of the Ladies
Auxiliary to Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1756. She
was a fan of the Cubs and Cowboys. |
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that
donations be made to St. Jude's at 530 NE Glen Oak
Ave., Peoria, IL 61603; or to the American Cancer
Society at 675 E Linton Ave., Springfield, IL 62703.
